A Dream in the Making: The Oxnard Warriors’ Historic First Year in the Gold Coast Youth Football League

The 2024 season will forever be etched in the hearts of our Oxnard Warriors, as we mark a remarkable milestone in our young history. Our first year in the Gold Coast Youth Football League (GCYFL) has already taken us further than we could have ever imagined, as two of our football divisions—the Sophomores and Mighty Mites—competed on the grandest stage imaginable: SoFi Stadium, the home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. But this achievement wasn’t just about the games played or the bright lights—it was about the journey, the growth, and the power of youth sports to unite and inspire.

Entering the GCYFL was a bold step for the Oxnard Warriors, but what we’ve achieved in such a short time speaks volumes about the dedication, passion, and vision of our athletes, coaches, and families.
